Star Wars Technology

I first came across this invention by IO2 Technology at youtube.com and was impressed by the Heliodisplay. The Heliodisplay is a 30" display which has the ability to display video or images in "thin air", yeah you heard right in thin air. The video or image is projected on to a steady stream of condensed air which then makes it appear as though the image is floating in thin air. The Heliodisplay is still in its early stages so the resolution to it isn't all that great. It is only a matter of time though until IO2 Technology unveils a HD 50" display... imagine that. You can read more about the Heliodisplay at IO2Technology.com. There you will find more images, videos, and further descriptions of how the Heliodisplay works. Along with information on how to go about purchasing one of these for a hefty 20 grand.
