Star Wars Technology

I first came across this invention by IO2 Technology at youtube.com and was impressed by the Heliodisplay. The Heliodisplay is a 30" display which has the ability to display video or images in "thin air", yeah you heard right in thin air. The video or image is projected on to a steady stream of condensed air which then makes it appear as though the image is floating in thin air. The Heliodisplay is still in its early stages so the resolution to it isn't all that great. It is only a matter of time though until IO2 Technology unveils a HD 50" display... imagine that. You can read more about the Heliodisplay at IO2Technology.com. There you will find more images, videos, and further descriptions of how the Heliodisplay works. Along with information on how to go about purchasing one of these for a hefty 20 grand.

The New iPhone... I Cant Wait

I just watched Steve Jobs boast about the new iphone, which was introduced at the January 9th Macworld Convention, and all i have to say is, WOW! Get this, a 3.5 inch display with integrated multi-touch and proximity sensors, iTunes, OS X, 2 mega-pixel camera, MSM texting, and the list goes on. Check out the introduction of the iPhone at apple.com and see for yourself how great this phone will be come June when its released to the public. I'm switching over to Cingular come February and guess what provider will exclusively carry the phone? That's right Cingular, so as you may already be aware, i will be out in line waiting for the release of this awesome phone. the price on the phone in my opinion isn't as bad as you would think for a product with all that the iPhone offers. Apple will be releasing a 4GB version for $499 and an 8GB version for $599. So there you have it kids, start saving up your allowance because come June this new iPhone will be the hottest gadget on the market.
